You Are Not Alone

God never intended for us to face life’s challenges on our own. That’s why He brings us together as a congregation—and why Stephen Ministry exists.
Stephen Ministers are specially trained to walk alongside those experiencing grief, loss, or difficult seasons of life. They offer a listening ear, compassionate presence, and prayerful support when you need it most.
As Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Through the caring ministry of others, God’s comforting presence becomes real and tangible—bringing peace, strength, and hope to those who are hurting.

What Is a Stephen Minister?

Stephen Ministers are compassionate members of our congregation who have completed 50 hours of specialized training to care for those facing life’s challenges. Whether someone is experiencing grief, illness, job loss, or another difficult season, a Stephen Minister provides one-on-one emotional and spiritual support.
Each Stephen Minister meets with their care receiver once a week for about an hour, offering a listening ear, prayer, and confidential care. They also meet regularly with Stephen Leaders for guidance, encouragement, and continuing education—ensuring every relationship is supported with wisdom and grace.
